Vitamin & Nutrient Injections
Good care starts with knowing what your body actually needs.
At Modern Medical Spa, nutrient therapy is personalized. A licensed provider meets with you, reviews your health history and medications, and — where it's useful — checks the relevant lab work before recommending anything. You'll know what we're giving you, why we're giving it, and what we expect to see when we recheck.

Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 is essential for healthy red blood cells, DNA synthesis, and normal nervous system function. Because it’s found almost entirely in animal-source foods and depends on the stomach and intestine to absorb, it’s one of the more common nutrients to run low.
Often a good fit for
-
Confirmed low B12 on lab work
-
Plant-based or strictly vegetarian diets
-
Long-term metformin or acid-reducing medication use
-
Prior gastric or intestinal surgery, or an absorption-related condition
-
Adults over 60, where absorption naturally becomes less efficient
At your visit. A quick intramuscular injection, typically a few minutes start to finish. We check a B12 level first and recheck it after a course so you can see the change. Both injectable and high-dose oral options work well — we’ll walk you through which makes more sense for you.
Vitamin D3
Vitamin D is essential for calcium absorption and healthy bone mineralization. Living in the Columbia Basin, we see a lot of low levels — the sun angle here from October through April simply doesn’t produce much.
Often a good fit for
-
A low 25-hydroxyvitamin D level on lab work
-
Limited sun exposure or extensive sun protection
-
Darker skin pigmentation, which reduces skin synthesis
-
Malabsorption conditions or certain long-term medications
At your visit. We check your level first, then choose the dose and the form that fits it. Vitamin D builds up in the body, so precise dosing and a follow-up level matter more here than with most nutrients — and that’s exactly what testing gives us.
Additional nutrient services
We also offer NAD+ and glutathione. These are compounded preparations, and whether any of them is appropriate for you is a conversation to have with a provider rather than a decision to make from a website. Bring your questions to a consultation, and we’ll give you a straight answer, including what the evidence does and doesn’t show.
What to expect
Your first visit. We’ll go through your health history, current medications and supplements, diet, and what brought you in. If lab work would help, we’ll give you an order for it.
Your results. We review your labs with you and build a plan around them — including telling you if the answer is that you don’t need anything.
Ongoing. Most nutrient plans have a defined course and a recheck point, not an open-ended appointment.
Good to know before your visit
Bring a list of your current medications and supplements. Let your provider know if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, have kidney disease or a history of kidney stones, take a blood thinner, have diabetes, or have ever reacted to an injected medication.
As with any injection, temporary soreness or bruising at the site is common.
Not sure what you need?
That’s the right place to start. Book an evaluation, and we’ll figure it out together — with lab work, not guesswork.
